The people of the world don't Joke with the scripture "THOU SHALL NOT JUDGE" while neglecting
John 3:16 " For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life" They love to dwell and dine in their sinfulness and also hated to be rebuked or corrected of their wicked and immoral lifestyles. However, when you tend to correct or
preach to them while condemning their wicked nature of sin; immediately, the echo,
Thou shall not judge will vibrate from their lips.
Moreover, whenever the echo
"thou shall not judge" rang, i use to ponder, which judgement would they rather prefer,
The Great White Throne Judgement Of God or
severe divine warning of man? I did prefer be judge, rebuked and corrected by mortal man rather be Judge by God. Hence, many ignorant believers and unbelievers don't really understand the spiritual meaning of that scripture.
Thou shall not Judge doesn't deprived you from correcting or rebuking your brother or sister who love to dwell darkness and indulges into sinfulness. While admonishing him or her, it must be according to the scripture and also justified by the Holy Ghost.
WHAT DOES THOU SHALL NOT JUDGE MEAN?
Spiritually, the scripture thou shall not judge apparently means that we are all sinners and also judged and condemned by the punishment of death due to the sin of Adam and eve. It means, none has heavenly authority or audacity to rebuke one another because we are all sinners. Romans 3:23 "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God" Romans 6:23 "For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord"
Nevertheless, the scripture has been misinterpreted by unbelievers. They usually use this verse as a means of defending themselves against genuine christian, whenever they want to rebuke or correct them of their silly error while serving God under the anger of God. Ezekiel 18:4 "Behold, all souls are mine; as the soul of the father, so also the soul of the son is mine: the soul that sinneth, it shall die"
A sinner cannot rebuked or correct his fellow sinner. Likewise a thief cannot rebuke his fellow brother who is into arm robbing, neither can a liar rebuked his fellow brother who is into fornication. Sin is sin and no matter how little or small it might be, is always a sin. 1 John 5:17 "All unrighteousness is sin" In fact before God, all sins are all equal.
SPIRITUAL MEANING OF THOU SHALL NOT JUDGE.
Let go back to that scripture according to Mathew 7:1-5 "Judge not, that ye be not judged. 2; For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again. 3; And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye? 4; Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me pull out the mote out of thine eye; and, behold, a beam is in thine own eye? 5; Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother's eye.
Jesus was trying to prove a point to us, that we are all sinners from the foundation of the world. Therefore we don't have any privilege to judge any wrong doing or wickedness of others because the blind cannot lead his fellow blind brother in darkness. He need light for direction. For this purpose, Christ brought LIGHTNESS TO THE WORLD and ever ready to give to as many that shall believe in him.
John 3:16 "For God so love the world, that he sent his only begotten son, that whosoever believe on him shall have life." The lightness shineth and maleth direction and pointed way to an eternal glory. Christ take away our punishment of death, therefore, given us light in which darkness comprehended not. Hence, we called out of darkness into his marvelous light to show fort his works without fear. 1 Peter 2:9.
We are call to rebuked, correct and
preach to them which are still in darkness. You have every right as SON OF LIGHT or genuine believer to rebuke or righteously judge your brother which ways lead to an eternal peril in darkness.
2 Timothy 4:2 "Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long suffering and doctrine"
Therefore, calling him out of darkness and explain unto him the danger and consequence of been in darkness and eternal punishment ahead. Therefore, informing him or her the curse of captivity and consequences living in darkness, likewise also the curse of sins and the curse of living as bastard child with sinful lifestyle. These righteous acts of rebuking your brother who liveth in darkness and reproving him to flee and escape for his dear soul, by embracing Christ and to repenting of his wickedness, is called "PERFECT JUDGEMENT"
When you tell your fellow brother who is in darkness to separate and break tires with the world, to break out from curse of the world. This act of reproving is righteous and justified by the scripture because it lead and brings someone to light and awareness of the truth.
But today, unbelievers and even some ignorant Christians still uses the same scripture while they are been tormented by guiltiness of their immoral lifestyle. Nevertheless, we have ourselves to blame because we refuse to study the word and rejected knowledge. Many christian are suffering in their ministry due to ignorant. We refuse to understand that all POWER'S and AUTHORITY had been given unto us.
We are no longer in darkness or under bondage of sin. We have to stand firm in boldness and confidence as the LIGHT of the WORLD; To preach and rebuked our brothers in darkness. To Judge their evil doing without fear; pointing unto them the righteous means and ways to attain unto godliness; instead of abandoning them to be JUDGE by the ALMIGHTY GOD which Judgment has no time for amendment or repentance.
The Judgment of man is a spicy flavor because there is tendency of repentance and mercy. But the Judgment of God is terrible and finally; because there shall no room for mercy or grace. The full wrath shall be terrible. Please let always seek for divine understanding of the scripture. Because it a necessity unto our soul toward our eternity race.
