Brother Isaac had two children, Esther and Kelvin. He and his wife have been looking upon the Lord for more children, but could not find. He loves his daughter Esther so much that he will do anything to make her happy. He also loves his son Kelvin but not as much as Esther.
One day as they were traveling on a journey, they had an accident and were rushed to the hospital but unfortunately Esther died during medical treatment, but the rest of the family were saved by the Doctors through the grace of God.
But when they eventual Informed Brother Isaac about the lost child, but surprisingly Brother Isaac started Blasphemy the name of the Lord. “Lord why Me? Why have you done this wicked to me? You’ve taken away my joy and you know we’ve being waiting upon you to add more children for us, but instead the little one I have you took away from me. You are very wicked. I wonder why you have given me Esther when you know you are going to take her from me soon. I regret ever trusting you. I don’t believe you exist anymore"
The Doctors and Nurses around him were not a serious believer, but still this words sound disgusting in their ears, such that they quickly injects him with a sleeping injection. How can he say such horrible things against his creator? Both the doctor and nurses mutter. As they were preparing to usher Esther to the mortuary, she suddenly came back to life. They were very surprised to see her back alive, the whole family rejoiced and were happy.
Brother Isaac mother was also living together with the family, being an elderly woman and including the housemaid making total number of 6 people living together. One day Esther came back from school with a ring she picked on the floor of her school not knowing the owner.
The following day her hands started decaying not knowing the cause; they treated and applied several medications but all to no avail. After some months it starts stinking such that no one wants to stay around her, even hospital rejected her. After some months, her hand and almost her entire body was full of maggots, such that her loving father will not want to see her, and yet they can’t bury her alive.
One day her mother was cleaning the house and she found the Ring, she picked it and ask her son Kelvin who is the owner but the young lad wasn’t aware, and his mother asked him to go and give it to her Mother in-law, perhaps she owns it. She collected it to check if it’s her own but was not and she also give it to the housemaid perhaps it belong to her.
She said she’s not the owner, and then she gave it to the gate-man to throw it away. The following day both the mother, Kelvin, Mother-in-law, Housemaid and the Gate man hands start decaying too, after a year they all died.
Brother Isaac went bankrupt due to the unknown sickness that sucked all his account, such that he sold his house, cars and all his property to pay back the money he owes, and suddenly went bankruptcy. He sat in a corner of a prison crying like a baby, he lost everything, his wife, his two children and his mother, not counting the gate-man and housemaid, he was the only suspect because the family of the housemaid claim he used their daughter for money ritual, and such accusation landed him in prison walls.
As he was crying, a voice spoke to him saying, are you now happy with this that’s happening to you? He said how do you mean, your daughter died in a car accidents and you started blaspheming the Lord your God, now can you see what would have happened to you if Esther has not died?
Suddenly he woke up in the hospital where the doctors injected him when blaspheming his God, he was surprised, for it never looks like dream, it looks real, then he kneel down and asked for mercy from God, and thank him for what he saved him from (Let’s Stop Here).

GOD HAS NOT FORSAKEN YOU BECAUSE HE ALWAYS CARES
John 16:33 "In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world. Many times we become arrogant to the Lord with an arrogant mind because we have forgotten his promises. , the moment the Lord is waiting for in your life is the moment you will humble yourself before the Lord, that he knows everything.
A lot of believers make this great mistake all the time, when we have problem, instead of it turning to God and praise him for what has happened, we will begin to blame God, angry with God and saying “why me” if it’s not you, then it can’t be anyone. It has to be you so that you can give glory to the name of the Lord and put Satan to shame.
God is not evil, he knows your past, future and your presence, for he is the beginning and the end (Revelation 1:8). He knows you more than you think you know yourself. He’s not wicked, he knows best what can favor you if you walk in his status, he knows when you are suppose to get pregnant, he knows when you should have money.
The Lord always travel ahead to see the evil on our ways and he take it away from us before we get there. God cannot sin for in him, there are no traces of darkness. Many will never want to have anything doing with the Lord because of the disaster that befalls them and their families, many think the Lord has abandoned them, that no matter how they pray, he will not listen to them.
Many has become an Atheist because of what they believe the Lord did to them, God can’t do evil and he will not make an issue beyond our capacity to befall us, does that means he has changed his word? God was the one who boast with Satan, that I trust my servant Job, no matter the kind of disaster or calamity that will befall him, he will never compromise.
And Job never shames the Lord. Can God boast on your behalf? How much time has you spoken evil word against your Lord just because of your mother who died on the day of your convocation or birthday? You lost your parent such that there is no one to help you in life, because of this you hate God and the Lord Jesus Christ or anything call his kingdom and at this moment you have backslidden from faith due to discouragement.
How many times have you abused God just because you have not given birth to your own children after three years of your marriage? Because of those accidents of yours that turn you into one hand human, one eye or one leg, you hate God for it, your face was disfigured by fire, why don’t you put your hope in God who is able to renew your body?
Have you rejected the Lord? Why not ask for his mercy. Are you guilty of these, ask God for mercy and he will forgive you. God doesn’t hate you but Love you because if he hates you, you would have been a dead person by now. He has given your Guardian angels to preserve your soul. Psalm 3:5 "I laid me down and slept; I awaked; for the LORD sustained me.
If you’re truly aware of the spiritual battles his angels are fighting on your behalf and that of family every day, honestly you will be grateful unto God irrespective of your present ugly situations. John 16:33 "These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world”.
He said in this world we will see hardship, but rejoice for the Lord has conquered the world. Please always be prayerful because there are some spiritual forces outside there watching you which you don’t know. There are some forces waiting for the hour of your weakness, make sure you have enough in your spiritual reservoir, so that when the devil comes, you will not be moved.
Ephesians 6:11-12 "Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
LESSONS FROM THE EAGLE
The eagle doesn't fight the snake on the ground. It picks it up and changes the battle ground, and then releases the snake into the sky. The snake has no stamina, no power in the air. It is useless, weak and vulnerable. Unlike on the ground where it is powerful, wise and deadly.
Similarly, take your fight into the spiritual realm by walking in holiness and in prayer. When you are in that realm God takes over your battles. Don't fight the enemy in his comfort zone or with his weapons else it will overpower you. Like the eagle, change the battleground through prayer and let God take over your battles. For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but are mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds.(2 Corinthians 10:4)
As a Christian, you are in constant battle against the forces of darkness. When you walk in holiness with prayer you soar in authority in the heavenly places in Christ. Be careful to choose your weapons of war according to the biblical instructions.
Do not pay evil for evil, or return insult for insult. Those are weak carnal weapons. You can't win your husband's drinking habit by fighting and insulting him But as stated in 1 Peter 3:1. Understand that he is a prisoner that needs help. Love, care and pray for him to be set free.
You can't behave like the devil and overcome him It won't work !. Forgiveness looks like weakness from man's point of view, but it a great spiritual tool that weakens forces of darkness. For us to rise above the standards of the enemy, we need to be free from all satanic behaviors, and all forms of idolatry. Jesus rightly said, the prince of this world comes but he has nothing in me, John 14:30.
Remember what God said, Joshua 7:11-12 " Israel hath sinned, and they have also transgressed my covenant which I commanded them: for they have even taken of the accursed thing, and have also stolen, and dissembled also, and they have put it even among their own stuff. Therefore the children of Israel could not stand before their enemies, but turned their backs before their enemies, because they were accursed: neither will I be with you anymore, except ye destroy the accursed from among you."
So you need to repent of every form of backsliding sins and seek for the mercy of God if you have ever curseth or abuses God due to slight delay in answers to your prayers because only him understand the best and what suited for you and he can't allow or permits you to wandered in miserable shame and reproach. Say this prayer. “Lord Jesus, give me the strength to always wait and depend on you alone at all time”
